George J. Ellis, III
Principal Owner
Mr. Ellis is a founding officer and Principal owner of
Service First Management & Consulting, Inc. He is a graduate
of Frostburg State University with a BS in Economics, and minors
in Accounting and Business Administration. He has been involved
in the management of community associations since 1988, and has
successfully transitioned many communities from developer to
homeowner control, maintaining the client relationship for many
years thereafter. Mr. Ellis has experience in all areas of property
and financial management, currently managing communities throughout
the area with combined assets of over $1,000,000, and combined budgets
of over $2,000,000. In addition to his knowledge of management and
associated legal matters, Mr. Ellis specializes in community association
budgeting.
Kathy A. Simonovich
President
Ms. Simonovich joined the team of Service First Management & Consulting
(SFMC) in October 1998. With over ten (10) years of common interest
management and five (5) years of builder/developer service, she has
offered SFMC knowledge and experience of the industry. Ms. Simonovich
has successfully managed townhome and single-family communities from 12
to 500 units. As the President and co-owner of SFMC, Ms. Simonovich is
responsible for the quality of service offered to clients, as well as
the day-to-day operations of the organization. This includes the direct
oversight of the physical and financial management of the clients and staff.
Ms. Simonovich has been married for 17 years, has two children,
Stephanie 13 and Zachary 10 and resides in Northern Virginia.
Ed Maltese
Community Manager
Mr. Maltese joined the team of Service First Management & Consulting
(SFMC) in April 2005. He has over 9 years experience on the Board of
Directors of a large town home association, serving 6 years as
President. Prior to beginning his career in property management,
Mr. Maltese was a Management Consultant providing business and
information technology to both the Federal Government and many
commercial corporations. Mr. Maltese brings his quality management
expertise along with his lengthy service on his Association’s Board
to provide his clients the customer service they expect.
Christie M. Lausch
Executive Assistant
After several years as an administrative assistant in the service
industry, Mrs. Lausch joined the SFMC team in April 1998. As Executive
Assistant, she provides direct support to the President of SFMC as well
as network systems support, administrative support to community managers
and overseeing the administrative staff. The quality of customer service
to the SFMC clients is directly attributed to Christie’s overall support
of the organization.
Christie is very active in her community and has been a volunteer EMT
since 1990 in Prince William County at Yorkshire Volunteer Fire
Department. Christie also works part-time in the summers as an EMT
at the Nissan Pavilion, a local concert arena. Christie was born and
raised in the Metropolitan area and currently resides in Manassas with
her husband, Matt.
