In the spring, cleaning and general repairs from the winter's
brutality begin. The street is cleaned, all parking areas are
inspected for weather damage, and if necessary, any found cracks
are filled, roads are repaired, and fire lines are re-painted.
Property cleanup occurs as well in the spring. This includes any
mowing, edging, or carving that may be deemed necessary. Also,
those communities with pools begin pool registration in the Spring.
Walk-through inspections are held this season as well.
Mowing is continued all summer as weather permits. Asphalt,
curbs, gutters, and sidewalks are all trimmed and maintained
as required.
Follow-up inspections occur in the fall. Lawn winter preparation
is done, including aeration, seeding, turf amendments, and tree and
shrub plantings. Any communities with pools, the pools are closed up
for the winter.
Contracts are negotiated for the following year, and the next year's budget
is prepared.
During the winter, coupons for our calendar year clients will be mailed
out. Budget distributions are made, and the year end auditing takes place.
Any common area proposals are solicited at that time as well.
